A 30-year-old man named as Jack Walker from Northampton is facing serious charges in connection with a shooting in Thornaby. Detectives in Stockton have charged the man with four counts of attempted murder, possession of a firearm with intent, and possession of a prohibited weapon.
The accused whose last known address is Carey Road, Hackleton in Northampton has been remanded in custody and will appear before Teesside Magistrates Court today, Wednesday, April 24th.
The charges stem from an incident that occurred on Shetland Avenue in Thornaby on Friday, April 12th. They are also related to an earlier incident in Staindrop, County Durham, on Friday, March 29th.
Cleveland Police are continuing their investigations into these incidents.
