Cleveland Police are appealing for information and witnesses following a serious assault that occurred in Middlesbrough on Saturday, 20th April. The incident took place at approximately 6:10 pm on Newport Road.
It was reported that a group of five males assaulted a man, leaving him with multiple fractures. Witnesses reported an ambulance at the scene, with multiple police vehicles closing off the road. Other vehicles that were thought to have stopped to assist were also present.
The suspects have then made off in the direction of Marsh Street, Middlesbrough heading down to Ithica Films.
Officers are urging anyone who may have witnessed the assault or has any information to contact Cleveland Police on 101, quoting reference 072092.
