At approximately 6:50pm on Friday 10th of May emergency services responded to an injury traffic collision on Troutbeck Road near Ontario Crescent just south of Redcar Town Centre
The crash which drew a large response from Cleveland Police and North East Ambulance Service responded to an injury traffic collision on Troutbeck Road between Hawkshead Road and West Dyke Road located just south of Redcar Town Centre.
Police quickly cordoned off the surrounding area while emergency services dealt with the injured person and to carry out an investigation into the crash which involved a black Audi Q8 SUV type vehicle.
Officers from Cleveland Police Matrix Team known for their expertise in dealing with serious road traffic collisions and conducting extensive investigations worked at the scene to piece together what led up to the crash taking place. A police officer could be observed deploying the police drone to get an overhead look at the scene to aid in their investigations.
Both Cleveland Police and the North East ambulance Service (NEAS) have been approached for comment.
