Emergency services attended the scene on Bishopton Lane between Great Burdon and Hill House Lane near Sadberge on Tuesday where a white vehicle had overturned forcing a total closure of the carriageway.
Emergency services including firefighters from County Durham and Darlington Fire and Rescue Service along with Durham Constabulary attended these scene of the dramatic crash reported to have occurred just after 12 noon. It took place just east of Darlington along a country road known as Bishopton Lane.
A white vehicle overturned blocking the road and witnesses described it as “badly damaged” It is unclear at the time if any injuries were sustained as a result of the crash.
Police opened the road to traffic shorty after 13:45pm allowing traffic to pass the scene officer under control
