A man has scaled the roof of a property in Hartlepool drawing emergency services from all over the town to the scene. The incident also drew spectators from the surrounding area around Sydenham Road and Kendal Road to watch the drama unfold
On the afternoon of Sunday 5th of May emergency services including Cleveland Fire Brigade, Cleveland Police and the North East Ambulance Service responded at approximately 16:00 to the scene near the Junctions of Sydenham Road, Kendal Road and Studley Road just south of Hartlepool Town Centre.
Crowds of local residents filled the streets to watch the drama unfold leaving locals to wonder what led up to the man being on the roof.
A large cordon is in place in the area and police and emergency services will remain on scene until the incident is brought to a safe conclusion.
