Shorty after 5pm on Sunday armed officers from the Matrix Team swooped on an address in the Whinney Banks area of Acklam in Middlesbrough.
Specialist firearms officers attended an address on Derby Avenue near to it’s junction to Weatherhead Avenue on Sunday evening.
Shortly before this incident the same team of officers surrounded a property on Freshingham Close in Hemlington located just south of Middlesbrough. It is unclear if these two incidents are linked at the time or if it is part of a wider operation carried out by Cleveland Police.
