The Stockton International Riverside Festival (SIRF), a vibrant celebration of street theatre, dance, music, and visual arts, will return in 2024. The much-loved festival, completely free to attend, transforms the streets of Stockton-on-Tees into a hub of artistic expression.
What is SIRF?
Since its inception in 1988, SIRF has captivated audiences with its unique blend of local and international talent. Expect the unexpected: from gravity-defying circus acts and whimsical street theatre to pulsating live music and thought-provoking installations. SIRF offers something to delight and inspire visitors of all ages and backgrounds. The festival is organised by Stockton Council with funding from Arts Council England.

When is SIRF 2024
The Stockton International Riverside Festival returns to Stockton High Street from Friday 2 to Sunday 4 August 2024, featuring a jampacked weekend programme. The popular Community Carnival will also take place on Sunday 4 August.
