A serious crash has fully closed the A170 between Pickering and Thornton-Le-Dale this is a key road linking Scarborough to the A19 near Thirsk
North Yorkshire Police along with various emergency services are on scene and anticipate the road to remain closed for some time. Drivers are urged to seek alternative routes and drive with care as well as to use caution as some “back roads” may not be suitable for HGVs or Coaches.
