Get ready! Santa Claus is expected to swap his sleigh for an open-top bus once again this December, bringing the magic of “Santa on Wheels” back to the streets of Stockton-on-Tees.
When is Santa on Wheels
Santa on Wheels 2024 will follow a similar format to last year’s event, with Santa spreading Christmas cheer across the borough from Thursday 12th to Sunday 15th December 2024.
In 2023, the Santa on Wheels tour included stops in Wynyard, Billingham, Thornaby, and Stockton Town Centre, delighting residents with festive music and holiday spirit. The event, organised by Stockton-on-Tees Borough Council, has quickly become a cherished tradition. Councillor Steve Nelson, Cabinet Member for Health, Leisure and Culture, previously praised the event, saying: “Santa on Wheels has been a hugely popular addition to our events programme for the last couple of years, and we hope everyone is as excited as we are to see it return this Christmas.”
