A crash involving a car leaving the motorway and colliding with a tree caused delays on the A1(M) today through County Durham
The crash took place shortly after 12:30 on Tuesday 30th of July on the A1(M) Northbound between J60 and J62 Bowburn involving a vehicle leaving the carriageway according to Durham Police
Delays were reported to be as far back as Junction 60 near Bradbury
All lanes cleared by 14:00 according to National Highways and traffic returned to normal
